Dr. Brian was born and raised in Jamestown, ND and lived there until his family moved to Fargo, where he attended Fargo South High School. Upon graduation Dr. Brian attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks before moving to Minneapolis to attend Northwestern College of Chiropractic. Upon completion of his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Brian moved back to Grand Forks and opened ChiroCenter One in March 1996.
Dr. Brian has been published in the professions leading research journal, the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT), for a case study and literature review regarding chiropractic treatment of back pain and sciatica secondary to a known disc herniation in the lower back.

Dr. Brian is married to Shannon (Hartwig) Jongeward, from Beulah, ND. Shannon is employed by Altru Health Systems as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS). She is also the editor of the North Dakota CLS Associations' newsletter. Dr. Brian and Shannon have two young children, Brady and Bailey.
